Associate Director of Data Standards

To establish and uphold data standards across enterprise systems, the full-time salaried Associate Director of Data Standards will manage the business glossary, set data quality standards, and coordinate a data steward network while working closely with the Chief Data Officer and the Director of Data Practice. Key Responsibilities Own the business glossary and manage the resolution process for contested definitions Set and enforce data quality standards, validation rules, and documentation requirements for enterprise data Coordinate the data steward network, including onboarding and maintaining glossary entries and validation rules Required Qualifications Advanced degree in quantitative behavioral, social, or health science, or equivalent experience in methods and data quality work Practical experience in data governance, including building or running a stewardship structure Strong background in applied research and evaluation methods, including study design and measurement planning Hands-on experience with data capture platforms and at least one statistical environment, with SQL fluency Demonstrated ability to influence senior staff and maintain standards without formal authority
