The Indiana Catholic Conference (ICC) is seeking a full-time Associate Director who, working collaboratively with and under the direction of the Executive Director, serves as a representative of the five Roman Catholic Dioceses in Indiana on public policy matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as spokesperson for the Catholic Church in Indiana as a registered lobbyist
- Develop and convey policy positions tolegislators, government officials and the public on behalf of the ICC
- Execute the ICC's external communications strategy
- Maintain and expand the ICC's advocacy network
Preferred Qualifications
- Professed and practicing Catholic in good standing who understand Catholic social doctrine and its application in public life
- Government relations and public policy experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create communications strategy
- Strong technology skills
Compensation
Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications
