Salary Range: Up to $110,000 + commission
Location / Working model: New York, NY | FiDi | Hybrid, 2–3 days in office
Build a high-value desk within an established financial and professional services search platform with a proven track record across the U.S. and U.K. markets. You’ll join an early-stage U.S. sales and distribution function with an existing client book, strong cross-border relationships and direct access to experienced colleagues who have built long-term relationships across investment management and private markets. This is an opportunity to shape a growing U.S. business while benefiting from the infrastructure, reputation and profitable foundation of a well-established international operation.
The Associate Director / Vice President, Sales & Distribution will build and grow a 360 recruitment desk focused on senior commercial talent across the investment management and private capital markets.
Role Highlights
- Own the full 360 recruitment cycle, from business development and client meetings through candidate delivery, negotiation and close.
- Develop relationships across investment management, asset management, private equity, private credit, infrastructure and related institutional markets.
- Leverage an established client book from day one, while expanding revenue through introductions, referrals and cross‑selling with U.S. and international colleagues.
- Build new accounts and deepen existing partnerships with senior decision‑makers, positioning yourself as a trusted recruitment adviser rather than a transactional supplier.
- Help shape the U.S. Sales & Distribution proposition as one of the early hires in a profitable, growing U.S. operation.
You Will Need
- Proven 360 recruitment experience at Associate Director, VP or equivalent level, ideally within financial services, investment management or a related professional services market.
- A strong record of winning and developing senior client relationships, with confidence engaging executives and decision‑makers.
- Commercial drive and the ability to manage the complete business‑development and delivery process independently.
- Experience recruiting across sales, distribution, investor relations, marketing or closely related functions is highly valued.
- A collaborative mindset: you’ll have the autonomy to build your desk while working closely with established U.S. and international teams.
Why You’ll Love It
- Start with a meaningful client book rather than building entirely from cold.
- Access established cross‑border relationships and warm introductions from an experienced international team.
- Join a U.S. business that is already profitable, with clear plans to grow the local team.
- Work from a central FiDi office with a practical hybrid model of 2–3 days per week.
- Build a desk with genuine ownership over strategy, clients, revenue and market development.
- Benefit from exposure to senior mandates across investment management and private markets.
- Work alongside experienced recruiters with long‑term tenure and substantial billing records.
- Join a values‑led, privately owned platform where your contribution can have visible impact.
