Job Title: Associate Director, IT Delivery
Location: New York, NY (hybrid)
Compensation: $220k-250k
What You’ll Do as an Associate Director, IT Delivery
- Standardize delivery processes, tools, and reporting across the IT delivery function.
- Oversee intake, demand planning, and prioritization to ensure alignment with capacity and business needs.
- Manage end-to-end delivery performance, including timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
- Lead governance processes to ensure adherence to project, technical, and change management standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner with product, engineering, architecture, and business leaders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Act as an escalation point to resolve delivery challenges and maintain momentum.
- Align IT initiatives with broader business strategies and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Collaborate with communications and training teams to support adoption and change management efforts.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT delivery professionals.
- Manage workload distribution, set performance goals, and support ongoing capability development.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in IT delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record managing complex, enterprise-scale technology initiatives.
- Experience working in global, matrixed environments with cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
- Experience with vendor management and third-party implementations.
- Understanding of change management, communications, and user adoption strategies.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as HCM, CRM, or Microsoft technologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
