Associate Director

The Indiana Catholic Conference (ICC) is seeking a full-time Associate Director who, working collaboratively with and under the direction of the Executive Director, serves as a representative of the five Roman Catholic Dioceses in Indiana on public policy matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as spokesperson for the Catholic Church in Indiana as a registered lobbyist
• Develop and convey policy positions tolegislators, government officials and the public on behalf of the ICC
• Execute the ICC's external communications strategy
• Maintain and expand the ICC's advocacy network

Preferred Qualifications

• Professed and practicing Catholic in good standing who understand Catholic social doctrine and its application in public life
• Government relations and public policy experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to create communications strategy
• Strong technology skills

Compensation

Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications
