Associate Director/Director, Project Management

Overview

The Associate Director/Director, Project Management is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of one or more Asset Teams in partnership with the Asset Team Leader. This role provides cross-functional project management support, drives alignment and accountability across team members, and ensures effective tracking of timelines, budgets, risks, decisions, and key milestones.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage one or more Asset Teams in partnership with the Asset Team Leader.


• Provide direct project management support for cross-functional Asset Team activities.


• Partner with Finance to provide financial oversight of cross-functional and Asset Team budgets.


• Develop and maintain integrated project timelines, risk logs, action item trackers, and other project management tools.


• Coordinate Asset Team meetings, including agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up actions.


• Drive alignment, collaboration, accountability, and achievement of key milestones across Asset Team(s).

Responsibilities

• Foster strong working relationships and facilitate effective communication among management, Asset Team members, and functional line leaders to ensure proactive management of issues, risks, decisions, and opportunities.


• Support the Asset Team Leader with financial and resource management activities, including budget tracking, forecasting, and ensuring effective use of resources throughout the year.


• Communicate and interact with SK Biopharmaceuticals (SKBP) and SK Life Science, Inc. (SKLSI) management to ensure timely and appropriate flow of project information to key decision-makers and team members.


• Ensure team discussions are focused on decision-making and execution by clearly defining action items, owners, and timelines, and by driving issues to resolution.


• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions, and maintain project documentation and repositories to promote transparency and accessibility across the team.


• Serve as a key point of contact for program-related information and maintain a comprehensive understanding of program scope, deliverables, timelines, current status, key risks, mitigation strategies, and critical decisions.


• Manage and maintain project management tools and platforms, including Smartsheet, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.


• Manage critical components of specific compound- or asset-based projects as assigned.


• Support the Finance team with the implementation and ongoing management of Purchase Orders and project budgets.


• Provide oversight of PMO activities or specific PMO initiatives, as requested.


• Lead or support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree


• An Advanced Degree in a relevant field strongly preferred


• PMI PMP Certification preferred


• 7-10+ years of Project Management experience


• Drug discovery and development knowledge across a broad range of functions and therapeutic areas


• Knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical quality and regulatory standards requirements


• Proven track record of project and/or operational support for successful IND, CTA, NDA, and/or BLA regulatory submissions


• Track record of supporting asset strategies, long-term planning and managing integrated timelines andresources


• Intellectual agility - able to pivot based on shifting priorities and balance multiple projects seamlessly in a fast pacedenvironment

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $220,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs.
