Position Overview

As an Designer for Reimbursement Support, you will join our team on a journey to help eliminate barriers for patients, increase their access to medications, and help them receive lifesaving treatments while working in an environment that nurtures you. The Designer for Reimbursement Support facilitates the detailed design session(s) to collaborate with the client, internal stakeholders and external partners, to successfully design and implement programs.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Previously served in the following departments at Mercalis or comparable roles at a similar organization - Program Management
• Patient Affordability/Market Access, Project Management, Solutions Delivery, Product Owner or Business Analyst
• Possess a firm understanding of Accumulator & Maximizer Solutions
• Exceptional note taking skills are required to capture internal & external discussions for visibility to all stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree and/or 10+ years of demonstrated strong program design performance or related responsibilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, often with competing priorities
• Ability and willingness to take responsibility of delivery from a diverse and often distributed team without formal authority; ability to interact collaboratively with internal stakeholders
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills for self and project team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must have for success
• Must have the business acumen to understand the value to Mercalis and the customer of good scope control as a key part of the project execution
• Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee creation of and adherence to project plans
• Must be skilled at conflict resolution in building collaborative solutions
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask and prioritize client issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong business acumen
• Internal candidates with Design skills are encouraged to apply

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Prefer candidates who can type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy
• Although very minimal, flexibility to travel as needed is preferred
• This job operates in a professional office environment
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc
