Position Summary

Support the CCIO to design, implement, and continuously improve the systems, tools, processes, and cross-functional coordination necessary for departments across GLIDE (Finance, Fund Development, Programs, Ops, HR, etc.) to effectively meet their compliance responsibilities. Build and maintain cross-system compliance dashboards, calendars, organizational compliance checklists, and other reporting tools to improve organizational visibility and accountability for contract/grant compliance requirements. Conduct and document biannual compliance assessments with the CCIO to build and improve compliant practices and culture across GLIDE. Collaborate with the CCIO and compliance leads across departments (Finance,Fund Development,Programs,Operations,HR,etc.) to standardize compliance workflows,templates,checklists,toolkits,and documentation. Maintain centralized repositories for compliance documentation and institutional knowledge. In collaboration with CCIO,Programleads,staff,d evelop organizational readiness processes for contract audits and monitoring visits,as well as audit preparation tools (eg.standardized auditchecklistsand timelines). Surface emerging compliance risksand gapsat the organizational leveland recommend process improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Compliance Systems & Infrastructure

Cross-Functional Project Leadership

  • Partner across departmentsandfacilitate cross-functional working groups whennecessary to foster shared accountability for compliance processes,establish clear divisions of labor,and ensure that compliance requirements are integrated into standard operations.
  • Manage organizational change projects around compliance from planning through execution;effectively coordinate stakeholders, timelines, dependencies,and clear,goal-driven communication.
  • Work with Finance,Fund,Development,to support effective collaboration across verticals to ensure programmatic and fiscal compliance and accountability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred, notrequired) and 5+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in project management, organizational operations, compliance systems,and/or process improvement.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, systems thinking, andchange management skills.
  • Experience in community-based social or health services agency and basic knowledge of program design, program workflows, and programmatic/fiscal monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience working with databases, data collection tools, and data analysis.
  • Experience in nonprofit organizations with government-funded contracts and grantsrequired; experience in administering San Francisco City and County contracts preferred.
  • Demonstratedtrack recordof success in cross-systems project management.
  • Strong analyticand creative problem-solving skills. Ability to synthesize information from diverse resources to formulatepossible recommendations/solutionsfor complex systems.
  • Ability to translateorganizational goals and priorities into action,lead cross-system initiatives frominception to execution, anditerate onprocesses for continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in aligning stakeholders around organizational change management initiatives.
  • Demonstratedcultural humilityand the ability to work effectivelywith peopleof alldifferent backgrounds.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work on a computer and see details of objects atcloserange.
  • Ability to hear withinnormalrange, and communicate effectively (in person, telephone orZoom).
  • Finger dexterity and the ability to use all standard office equipment.
  • Sit or standcomfortably;and the ability to navigate throughout office spaces (via elevator or stairs).

$95,000 - $115,000 a year

This is a fulltime (40 hour/week), Exempt position.

Work Environment

GLIDE’s buildings are located in the Tenderloin neighborhood.GLIDE maintains an "open door" policy to the community and its clients, who frequently enter and leave the building.
