Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing - Regional Engagement Midwest/Central, Insights and Events

Responsibilities / Essential duties:

• Support development and execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan (regional engagement, insight gathering, events).
• Coordinate Liver Franchise priorities with Marketing & Sales and cross-functionally.
• Drive regional priority opportunities/activations and foster the Liver leadership narrative.
• Develop and execute stakeholder insight plan (speaker bureau; regional advisory boards when appropriate).
• Orchestrate Gilead presence at key Liver events/sponsorships aligned to commercial priorities.
• Manage/direct agency partners to deliver annual tactical plan within budget.
• Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Travel / location:

• Field-based; ideal candidate in Midwest (IL, MN, TX).
• Weekend/overnight travel; up to 75% travel.

Qualifications / Skills:

• 10+ years professional experience; 8+ years MS/MA or MBA.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field (required).
• Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales, and commercial policies/practices.
• Previous marketing and/or pharmaceutical sales experience desired; MBA/advanced business or public health degree desired.
• Preferred: liver experience/relationships; strong customer focus.
• People leadership capabilities: inclusion, talent development, empowerment.
• Strong interpersonal/verbal/writing skills; ability to simplify complex topics; collaborative work style.
• Excellent project management; manage multiple priorities.

Compensation / benefits (if eligible):

• Salary range: $177,905-$230,230.
• May include discretionary annual bonus and long-term incentives; paid time off; company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
