Associate Designer, Dresses & Skirts

We are seeking a talented Fashion Designer to support the Dresses & Skirts categories for an established women’s fashion retailer known for its polished, elevated, and feminine aesthetic .

This role is ideal for a designer with a strong fashion eye who is also highly technical and comfortable working across multiple seasons and categories. Advanced Adobe Illustrator experience is a must , along with working knowledge of Photoshop.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop dresses and skirts aligned with an elevated, feminine brand aesthetic.
• Create detailed design concepts, sketches, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator .
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop for image editing, presentations, and supporting design work.
• Research relevant fashion brands, market trends, silhouettes, details, prints, colors, and seasonal inspiration.
• Translate trend research into commercially relevant designs appropriate for the customer.
• Manage design work across multiple seasons and departments simultaneously .
• Partner with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process.
• Utilize PLM systems to support product development and maintain accurate design information.
• Work with collaborative tools such as Miro and emerging AI-based image generation tools.
• Independently manage priorities and timelines to consistently meet deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills are REQUIRED.
• Moderate to strong Adobe Photoshop skills.
• Previous fashion design experience, ideally within women’s dresses and/or skirts .
• Strong understanding of an elevated, feminine women’s fashion aesthetic .
• Excellent taste level with a strong eye for silhouette, color, print, proportion, and detail.
• Ability to research competitive and aspirational brands for design inspiration.
• Experience with or familiarity with PLM software .
• Familiarity with Miro is preferred.
• Comfortable exploring AI image-generation tools , such as Google Gemini and similar platforms.
• Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple departments, projects, and seasons.
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently against deadlines. xhqgsiq
