About the Opportunity
An established, highly respected practice in the Columbia suburbs is seeking an experienced full-time Associate Dentist to step into an existing, full patient schedule. This position is a direct replacement for an outgoing full-time doctor, allowing the incoming associate to take over a busy patient base immediately with no ramp-up period required.
Unlike DSO environments driven by corporate metrics, daily targets, and high turnover, this independent practice focuses on patient-first care, sustainable growth, and long-term career progression. For the right doctor, this position offers a clear, structured path to practice partnership.
Position Highlights

- Higher Net Compensation: Earn 31% of collections with no lab deductions subtracted from pay, backed by an initial daily guarantee of $800 to $1,000.
- Work-Life Balance: Four days a week (Monday through Thursday) with every other Friday morning. No evening hours and no weekends.
- Strong Patient Base: Predominantly in-network PPO and cash-pay patients. The practice does not participate in Medicaid.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality general dentistry to patients in a comfortable, modern setting.
- Perform comprehensive clinical exams, diagnose oral health conditions, and formulate individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver core general dentistry procedures, including restorative work, crown and bridge, prosthetics, and basic operative care.
- Proficiency in molar endodontics and surgical extractions is a strong plus.
Qualifications & Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited US dental school.
- Active South Carolina dental license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date).
- Clinical experience required.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to building long-term relationships with patients and staff.

Schedule
- Monday through Thursday: Standard daytime hours
