Associate CounselThe Associate Counsel is responsible for providing legal services support and deliverables to the organization.Essential Job FunctionsProvides legal support on a variety of matters, including corporate and business transactions, physician contracts, patient care issues, privacy and compliance, medical staff matters, and labor and employment issues.Conducts and analyzes legal research in support of operational goals.Reviews and drafts contracts, leases, and other legal documents.Responds to requests for legal advice from company leaders and peers.Coordinates work with outside counsel as appropriate.EducationRequired: Completion of a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.ExperienceExperience: 5 years relevant health law experience, with some of this as in-house experience.Licensure/Certification/ListingREQUIRED Valid Driver's License | Admitted to the North Carolina State Bar, or be eligible for admission within a reasonable time.
