Responsibilities
- Provide clear, pragmatic advice on US and Americas legal and regulatory requirements
- Support Corporate Development on fundraising rounds and strategic transactions
- Partner with business, Regulatory Legal, and Regulatory Compliance on market expansion
- Work closely with compliance, risk, and other LRC teams globally
- Draft, review and negotiate referral agreements, marketing and sponsorship agreements
- Advise on legal issues related to marketing, advertising, and promotions
- Coordinate and manage outside counsel on specialized matters across the Americas
- Use technology and AI-enabled tools to increase the speed and quality of legal work
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (or equivalent) from a reputable law school
- Active membership in at least one US State Bar, in good standing
- 3+ years of experience in financial services and corporate law
- Demonstrated interest in financial services regulation and the fintech industry
- In-depth knowledge of legal and business environments in the Americas region
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated capability in managing and leading outside counsel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
