Associate Consultant - Talent Acquisition Headhunter

Join JCW's Growing Boston OfficeWe're expanding our team of Recruitment Consultants across US banking & finance, regulatory & insurance, life sciences and legal markets. You'll be supporting our internal talent acquisition function, focusing on sourcing, screening, and managing candidates for JCW recruitment roles while developing core recruitment skills. During slower periods, you may also support client recruitment placements.

Many of our team members come from diverse educational and professional backgrounds, and our structured and intensive training program equips them with the skills to thrive in this fast-paced, relationship-driven industry.What You'll Be DoingPrimary Focus: Internal Talent AcquisitionPartner with senior leadership to source and screen candidates for JCW internal openingsConduct initial screening calls and manage candidate pipelines from application through offer stageCoordinate interview scheduling, gather feedback from hiring managers, and maintain organized candidate recordsBuild and maintain candidate profiles, assess fit against JCW competencies, and provide written assessmentsDevelop relationships with candidates while learning market dynamics and recruitment fundamentalsCreate and maintain Boolean search strings to identify talent from competitor firms and specialist networksContribute to improving our recruitment process through feedback and process documentationSecondary Focus: Client Recruitment (During Slower Periods)Support client placements by partnering with senior recruitersLearn to manage external recruitment pipelinesDevelop understanding of client relationship dynamicsBroader ResponsibilitiesContribute to a collaborative team environment and support office operations as neededSupport onboarding initiatives for new hiresParticipate in training and development opportunities to build recruitment expertiseWhat We're Looking ForRequirementsA bachelor's degreePrior corporate or professional work experience- no specific industry required, we're happy to teach industry knowledgeStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong verbal communication skills and confidence engaging with senior professionalsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesCoachability and willingness to learnWhy Join JCW?The recruitment industry is thriving, offering strong career potential for driven professionals.
