Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.Job DutiesSet up and operate CNC Mills and CNC LathesBuild and perform machine setups, including fixture installation, tooling setup, work holding, and work offset establishmentVerify programs and perform prove-outs for new machining processes and first-run partsRead and interpret blueprintsInspect first-article and production parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, and other precision measuring equipmentMonitor machine operation and adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, tooling, and cutting parameters to maintain part quality and efficiencyTroubleshoot machine, tooling, material, program, and process-related issuesLoad, align, and secure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces using appropriate lifting equipment, including overhead cranes when requiredMaintain production records and communicate machining or programming issues to supervisors and support personnelPerform routine machine maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment careSupport continuous improvement initiatives and mentor less-experienced machinists as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredMinimum 2 years of CNC machining experience; greater experience may be considered in lieu of formal educationAbility to independently perform machine setups and operate CNC machining equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawingsProficiency using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gaugesStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsReliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as requiredPreferred Qualifications3+ years of CNC machining experienceExperience performing first-article inspections and machining process prove-outsTrade school certification or technical education in machining or manufacturing technology.Work Shift (DAYS) Monday-Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pmCandidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
