Supporting a government contract focused on Petroleum, Oil, & Lubricants (POL), the remote Associate Buyer will manage sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring essential packaged products to ensure military mission readiness while balancing compliance and cost-control strategies. Key Responsibilities Procure packaged petroleum products, oils, lubricants, and chemicals critical to military operations Utilize Qualified Products Lists (QPLs) and Product Item Descriptions (PIDs) for technical validation and compliance verification Prepare and manage requests for proposals (RFPs) and lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal contract terms Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Chemical Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience 0-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain operations, or chemical management Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
