Supporting a government contract focused on Petroleum, Oil, & Lubricants (POL), the full-time Associate Buyer will manage sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring essential products to ensure mission readiness, with the flexibility of a remote work environment. Key Responsibilities Procure packaged petroleum products, oils, lubricants, and chemicals critical to military operations Utilize Qualified Products Lists (QPLs) and Product Item Descriptions (PIDs) for technical validation and compliance Prepare and manage requests for proposals (RFPs) and lead negotiations to secure optimal supplier terms Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Chemical Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 0-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain operations, or chemical management Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Experience in building effective working relationships and interacting professionally at all organizational levels
