The Associate Analyst assists the team by answering and directing customer phone calls, resolving issues, and continuing to train to take on advanced tasks. This is an in-person position that reports to our Boston, MA office 5 days a week.Responsibilities:Practices effective listening skills, patience, and empathy to provide the best possible service experience to our callersHandles a large volume of calls by routing them to the appropriate departmentProvides accurate information and assists customers with general inquiries regarding billing and payment mattersDocuments a summary of all billing related inquiries in the company's billing systemPerforms basic maintenance to bill accounts as identified through reports or when communicating with insureds, agents, or Safety's internal staffRecognizes when a call needs to be escalated and adheres to the established procedures when transferring callers to the appropriate billing team memberPerforms other duties and/or projects as needed or requiredQualificationsCollege degree is preferredInterest in learning about billing, payments and insuranceReliable and a proven hard workerExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsBilingual in Spanish or Portuguese a plus
