Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of Workers' Compensation cases.
- Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, motions, and legal summaries, evaluations, and analysis.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
- Assist in managing case files, deadlines, and client communications.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state with good standing.
- Experience or knowledge in Workers' Compensation is required.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a law office setting is required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Trial experience is required.
