Eckert Seamans, a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its growing Financial Services Litigation practice in White Plains, New York. This is an exciting opportunity for a litigation attorney to work on complex, substantive matters in a collaborative environment that values professional growth, independent thinking, and exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate will have experience representing financial institutions and mortgage servicers in real property matters, along with a strong foundation in commercial litigation. Attorneys who enjoy managing their own caseload, advocating for clients, and working alongside talented legal professionals will thrive in this role.

What You'll Do

• Manage a variety of active commercial litigation matters with increasing independence.
• Represent financial institutions and mortgage servicers in real property-related disputes.
• Conduct depositions, participate in oral arguments, and appear in court.
• Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and prepare persuasive legal briefs and other litigation documents.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop practical, results-oriented legal solutions.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required.
• Financial services litigation experience, particularly involving real property matters, is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated deposition, oral argument, and courtroom experience.
• Excellent academic credentials and exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
• A team-oriented mindset paired with the confidence to handle assignments independently.
