Description
This is not your typical stuffy firm; we work hard, but we believe in fostering a positive team member environment with room for growth.
We're seeking a motivated Non-Litigation Attorney / Attorney-Salesperson to handle professional license defense and administrative law cases. Your main focus will be client acquisition and retention, as well as case preparation for non-litigation processes. Some experience is a plus, but not a dealbreaker - we're more interested in your passion and drive.
As a member of our team, you'll be expected to build strong relationships with prospective clients, converting consultations into retained cases. You'll need to have patience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with potential clients to establish trust and rapport. In addition to client-focused duties, you'll assist litigation attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings in front of licensing boards, government agencies, and the Office of Administrative Hearings.
If you thrive in a competitive, high-energy environment and enjoy helping others while pursuing your own professional growth, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities
• Conduct "Discovery Calls" with prospective clients to evaluate their legal issues, clearly explain the firm's services, and align prospective client needs with appropriate solutions
• Build trust and rapport with prospective clients to convert consultations into retained cases
• Review and explain payment structures, billing arrangements, and retainer agreements to prospective clients
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding payments and financial arrangements. Ensure all payments are collected in a timely manner and in accordance with the firm's policies
• Collaborate with the marketing team to identify new opportunities for client engagement and referrals
• Research issues related to clients' cases
• Come up with legal theories for clients' cases
• Communicate with clients; if you like to communicate with clients or go the extra mile to make the client happy, then please apply
