I'm recruiting for a national civil defense firm that's growing its Richmond office. They want an associate with 2 to 4 years of insurance defense who's ready to start running files, from the day suit is filed through to settlement or trial. Clients range from Fortune 100 companies to small business owners and individual insureds, so no two files look the same.
What you'll be working on
- Insurance defense across general liability, personal injury, product liability and professional liability.
- Motions and legal memoranda you write yourself.
- Depositions, deposition summaries and trial preparation.
- A docket that's growing with the office, backed by a firm with twelve offices across nine states plus DC.
What makes you a strong fit
- A JD and 2 to 4 years in insurance defense.
- A Virginia license. Preferred, not essential.
- Any time spent on employment, healthcare, environmental or construction matters. It counts here.
