Associate Attorney

Our client is a nationally recognized plaintiffs' law firm focusing on personal injury, mass tort, and environmental litigation. With offices in New York, Long Island, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and Florida, the firm represents clients across the United States. For more than two decades, the firm has helped thousands of individuals obtain fair compensation for injuries caused by negligence, defective drugs, medical devices, and other harmful products. The firm is dedicated to high-quality advocacy, client-centered service, and meaningful results for injured individuals.

This is a full-time, on-site associate attorney role based in Roslyn, NY. The associate attorney will handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and participating in discovery. Daily responsibilities include taking and defending depositions. The attorney will collaborate with colleagues to maintain high professional and ethical standards while advancing clients' interests.

Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in law, on the personal injury plaintiff side for two years.
  • Experience drafting and motions.
  • Proficiency in handling matters before courts, including conferences, hearings, and trial proceedings.
  • Skill in planning, taking, and defending depositions.
  • Active license to practice law in New York; additional admissions (e.g., federal courts) are a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including clear communication with clients, courts, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and case management abilities, with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage a litigation caseload independently.

Salary: Based on the candidate's experience.
