Associate Attorney - Plaintiff Personal InjuryWe are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our plaintiff personal injury practice. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of personal injury matters, advocate zealously for injured clients, and work collaboratively with partners, paralegals, and medical experts to obtain outstanding results. This role offers courtroom experience, client-facing responsibility, and opportunities for professional growth within a plaintiff-focused law firm.Key responsibilities include:Managing a full caseload of plaintiff personal injury claims from intake through trial and appeal, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement documents.Conducting client interviews, maintaining regular client communication, and counseling clients on case strategy, medical treatment, and settlement decisions.Investigating claims by reviewing medical records, consulting with medical experts, inspecting accident scenes when appropriate, and coordinating with investigators.Preparing for and attending mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials; developing trial strategies and examining witnesses effectively.Negotiating settlements with defense counsel and insurance adjusters to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while documenting settlement terms and preparing closing paperwork.Collaborating with partners, paralegals, and support staff to ensure timely case progression, file management, and adherence to deadlines and court rules.Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda on liability, damages, and procedural issues; staying current on relevant case law and statutory developments.Contributing to business development efforts by participating in community outreach, client referrals, and firm marketing initiatives as needed.Maintaining accurate case files, billing records, and conflict checks; ensuring compliance with ethical rules and firm policies.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar (or pending admission).2+ years of experience handling plaintiff personal injury matters preferred; new attorneys with strong internships or clerkships in civil litigation encouraged to apply.Proven experience in drafting pleadings, taking depositions, conducting discovery, and courtroom advocacy.Strong understanding of personal injury law, damages, medical records interpretation, and liability analysis.Excellent written and oral communication skills, client management ability, and professional judgment.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently while working collaboratively as part of a team.Comfortable with legal research tools, case management software, and electronic filing systems.High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a commitment to achieving client-centered results.Benefits:PTOMedical Benefits401kSalary Range 65-120k DOE
