A litigation law firm specializing in insurance defense and business litigation is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate has a strong civil litigation background, preferably in insurance defense, with excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of civil litigation, including depositions, mediations, hearings, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
- Develop case strategies, evaluate claims, and manage matters through resolution.
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and team members to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Represent clients in complex litigation matters and maintain strong client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in Florida.
- 3–5+ years of legal experience.
- Civil litigation and insurance defense experience preferred.
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Experience handling depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials preferred.
