We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our long‑standing law firm in Newark, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a new or experienced attorney who wants direct client interaction, and meaningful mentorship in a supportive environment. This includes litigation, probate, estate planning and real estate. *Duties* * Assist with legal research, drafting, and case preparation.
* Support litigation, transactional, or general practice matters depending on firm needs.
* Draft motions, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents.
* Attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings with senior attorneys
* Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. *Experience* * Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active Ohio bar admission or eligibility to sit for the bar exam
* Proven experience conducting legal research using LexisNexis.
* Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal drafts and memoranda.
