Duties
- Conduct initial intake and analysis on files, generating strategy and budget within 24 hours.
- Draft civil litigation documents, including discovery and dispositive motions.
- Review chain of title, pleadings, and foreclosure documents.
- Make court appearances across Oregon and potentially Washington.
- Provide same-day client updates and correspondence.
- Assist staff with inquiries in a professional manner.
- Write, review, and edit reports and opinions for compliance purposes.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Active membership in the OR State Bar, with preference for WA State Bar membership.
- 2+ years of related experience in the mortgage area preferred.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.
Education
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active membership in the OR State Bar.
