Litigation Associate Attorney
A prominent, well-established Idaho law firm is seeking multiple full-time Associate Attorneys to join its growing offices in Pocatello and Burley. The firm offers a full-service litigation practice, providing attorneys with an extraordinary opportunity to build deep courtroom experience across both civil and criminal dockets in a supportive, team-driven environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage injury files from initial investigation through resolution—evaluating damages, directing medical record reviews, taking/defending depositions, and conducting settlement mediations.
- Manage federal court dockets involving constitutional tort claims, conducting in-depth legal research and drafting key filings (including briefings on qualified immunity issues).
- Handle real estate litigation, boundary and title disputes, construction defect matters, mechanic's liens, and breach-of-contract claims.
- Represent clients facing state misdemeanor and felony charges, preparing evidentiary suppression motions, negotiating plea agreements, and trying cases before juries.
- Advocate for clients in contested divorces, custody matters, and asset divisions, while also drafting estate plans and guiding families through formal probate administration.
What We Offer
- Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 base salary (DOE)
- Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare, benefits package, and paid time off
- Practice Growth: Broad exposure to diverse legal disciplines without being restricted to a single niche

- Active member in good standing with the Idaho State Bar (or eligible for prompt admission via reciprocity)
- Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Ability to manage diverse case files and interact effectively with clients
