Our client, a prestigious law firm with offices throughout the Northeast, has an immediate need for a Litigation Attorney , to join their winning team in Cherry Hill.
Insurance defense is preferable, but not required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage files from inception to trial
- Prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs and be involved in negotiating settlements
- Work closely with clients and claims partners to prepare timely reports on litigation
- Draft motions
- Appear in court
- Medical record review
- Client reporting
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Experience using Practice Master software highly preferred
- Ability to identify risk, review and assess medical records, depositions and other legal documents
- Able to work independently with strong attention to detail along with the ability to organize and prioritize workload working with an electronic diary
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with clients and customers and negotiate on their behalf
- Demonstrable track record of success in liability defense
- Experience and facility with medical records
- New Jersey Bar required.
