*Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct detailed legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across various legal fields.
* Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests with precision and clarity.
* Prepare for court depositions, trial proceedings, and hearings by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
* Assist in client communication by providing clear updates and explaining legal options effectively.
* Support litigation efforts through trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing witness testimony.
* Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software to ensure timely updates and compliance with procedural laws.
* Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases involving employment law, personal injury claims, or statutory legal research to develop strong advocacy strategies.
*Qualifications*
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
* Proven experience or internship in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, or personal injury law.
* Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for statutory and case law analysis.
* Excellent legal writing skills demonstrated through drafting motions, pleadings, and client correspondence.
* Knowledge of procedural laws governing court depositions, trial procedures, and litigation processes.
* Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
* Prior experience working in a law office environment with familiarity in legal case management systems is preferred.
