We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney licensed in Texas with at least four (4) years of litigation experience to handle a broad range of commercial and business litigation matters . The ideal candidate is a strong legal writer, skilled researcher, and self-directed attorney capable of managing an active docket with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Handle commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation-related documents
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, well-reasoned legal analysis
- Manage cases and deadlines independently while maintaining high-quality work product
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Qualifications
- Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- ** Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience ** , preferably in commercial and/or business litigation
- Excellent legal writing and research skills
- Strong drafting skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage a litigation docket with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Professional judgment and client-focused mindset
