alliant offers six different service lines to our clients and this role is within the alliantgroup service line which helps companies identify and leverage the largest federal and state incentives available including R&D.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate evidence, assess case merits, and develop strategies to position clients for successful outcomes.Advise clients on legal and business matters impacting incentive studies and related projects.Identify, analyze, and quantify business incentives for clients across a variety of industries.Collaborate with industry experts to assess technical projects and determine qualifying activities.Develop and execute strategies to represent clients in federal and state examinations, mediations, and appellate reviews.Gather, review, and analyze documentation and prepare responses for submission to government agencies.Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, analyses, and other supporting legal documents.Prepare clients and witnesses for interviews, examinations, and meetings with government agencies.Serve as the primary liaison between clients and government agencies, ensuring exceptional client service and communication.Build and maintain strong client relationships while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.QualificationsJD required and an active license to practice law in any statePreferred 2 years of experience as an attorney with the ability to maintain own docketPreferred prior client facing and/or professional services industry experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly professional, competitive, and collaborativeStrong aptitude, highly motivated, and career mindedHigh sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and changing prioritiesReceptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essentialAvailable to travel 15-25% within the United StatesCandidate must reside or relocate to Houston, TXalliant offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including 100% employer paid medical/dental premiums for single coverage, 401(k) matching, PTO, performance bonuses, company provided life insurance and disability, onsite gym and group fitness classes, paid covered parking, and more!Do Work That Matters. alliant
