Duties

• Draft pleadings and discovery documents for various case aspects, including motions and mediations.
• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Consult and prepare experts for litigation.
• Research complex legal areas to support case strategies.
• Manage intensive fact discovery using electronic discovery platforms.
• Report comprehensively to partners and client representatives.
• Communicate and negotiate persuasively with opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar.
• 3-5 years of civil litigation experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Commitment to client advocacy and relationship building.
• Ability to commute to the La Jolla office.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
