The candidate will work within the Strategic Transactions practice group, focusing on advising early-stage companies and venture capital funds.
Duties
- Advise early-stage companies through IPO or M&A exit.
- Guide venture capital funds on investment rounds and investor relationships.
- Assist with founders' arrangements and initial investments.
- Provide advice on securities law compliance and corporate governance.
- Facilitate mergers, acquisitions, and asset sales.
- Support public offerings and strategic relationships.
- Conduct due diligence and investment structuring for investors.
- Advise on investment exit strategies.
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school or equivalent.
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in capital markets or securities law.
- Experience representing early-stage companies and investors.
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using AI technologies responsibly in legal practice.
Education
