Prominent national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their thriving practice. Ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and have 2+ years litigation experience in one or more of the following areas: Professional Liability, Criminal, Premises Liability, Construction/NY Labor Law, Medical Malpractice, General Tort, Transportation, Auto, General Liability, Personal Injury, Products Liability, Civil Litigation, Employment, Coverage, Habitability, Municipal, Environmental.
Open to both Plaintiff's or Defense side experience! Option to work 4 days remote/1 day onsite in their East Midtown NYC office by Grand Central Station.
You'll get the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting matters including some related to various venue liability litigation (recreational venues, arenas, amusement parks, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Handle cases from inception to conclusion
- Take and defend depositions
- Court appearances
- Draft motions, pleadings and respond to discovery
Qualifications:
- Strong research and writing skills
- 2+ years of litigation experience
- Must be licensed to practice and in good standing in NY. Admission in other jurisdictions a plus!
Base salary range 120k-165k + Generous Bonuses & Full Benefits Package + Mostly Remote Option
