Position Overview
A well-established, multi-office law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing San Diego office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to handle sophisticated litigation matters across a diverse range of practice areas.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through trial or resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation and trial strategy.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical legal analysis.

Qualifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in civil litigation law.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Ability to manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school preferred.
