This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct residential real estate closings for buyers, sellers, and lenders.
- Review closing documents and title searches for accuracy and legal sufficiency.
- Resolve title curative matters efficiently.
- Communicate with clients, brokers, lenders, and title companies throughout the process.
- Deliver practical legal guidance while managing multiple transactions.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active South Carolina law license (required).
- North Carolina law license (preferred).
- 2-3 years of residential real estate law experience, including conducting closings and reviewing title matters.
- Notary Public (or willingness to obtain before start date).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
