Position Overview
Our client, an established family law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to manage a diverse caseload and provide skilled, compassionate representation to clients navigating complex family law matters.
This role is well suited for a litigation attorney with strong writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills. Family law experience is preferred but not required.
What You’ll Do
- Manage cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, agreements, and adoptions.
- Counsel clients and develop individualized legal strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in hearings, motions, trials, mediation, and settlement conferences.
- Conduct legal research and analyze relevant statutes and case law.
- Present evidence, examine witnesses, and advocate for clients in court.
- Negotiate settlements and work toward effective case resolutions.
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and outside experts.
