Associate Attorney

Company Description Warshauer Atkins is a boutique trial practice representing victims and families in catastrophic personal injury or wrongful death cases. Our partners have been protecting the rights of ordinary people for decades, securing millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for their clients. Warshauer Atkins concentrates its practice in birth injuries, medical malpractice, and product liability.

Role Description We are looking for an Associate Attorney who is prepared to take on a significant caseload and manage those cases efficiently and independently. You will work on a team with one of the firm's partners and a dedicated paralegal. This is an "in office" position because we believe that it is easier to work as a team when lawyers and paralegals collaborate in person. But we have some hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
• 3-5 years experience handling a significant personal injury caseload - plaintiff or defense side.
• Significant experience with each phase of a civil case - initial pleadings, written discovery, motions practice, mediation and jury trial.
• Experience deposing witnesses, including medical experts.
• Trial experience - responsible for handling at least 10 cases from pre-trial order through jury trial as either a first or second chair attorney.
