If you are committed to excellence and ready to contribute to a dynamic culture, we would love to meet you.This position will be focused on asset management, lease analyses and execution, business plan development and implementation, asset valuations, and dispositions for Brookfield's West Region U.S. industrial portfolio. Additionally, the Associate will have exposure to underwriting, market research, portfolio management and development and construction, working with the various teams in the Los Angeles office.

The Associate will benefit from extensive exposure to the North American Logistics market through real estate management and analysis.Role & Responsibilities:Manage the leasing process and analyze potential leases and the resulting financial impact on an investmentAbility to analyze lease proposals and negotiate lease transactions through executionAnalyze third party appraisals and conduct internal valuationsBuild strong relationships with Industrial/Logistics Brokerage communityPerform detailed quarterly financial statement analysis, review of rent rolls, current and future cash flow and forecasting of cash flows through ArgusPerform financial analyses, including Argus valuation models and Excel-based underwriting of pro-formas, cash flow projections and sensitivity analysesAssist Senior Asset Managers in development of annual operating budgets including leasing and capital project forecastingSupport Senior Asset Managers with asset sales/dispositions processProvide analytical support to colleagues in the areas of Fund Operations, Investments and DevelopmentWork on other tasks / initiatives to gain exposure to acquisitions, development, portfolio management, and market research as neededYour Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or applicable field4-5 years of related experience requiredAbility to travel monthlyArgus experience required, VTS experience a plusStrong understanding of financial principles and analytical abilityHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills requiredDemonstrated interest in real estateEffective communication, time management, and presentation skillsYour Career @ Brookfield Properties:At Brookfield Properties, your career progression is important to us.
