Immediately Seeking! Manufacturing Associate – Armstrong, Iowa 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday | 3:00 P.M.–1:00 A.M. | $20.50/HR + $2.00/HR Shift Premium
Job Description
Operate and tend fabricating machines that cut, shape, and bend metal coils, plates, sheets, tubes, and structures. Read job specifications and blueprints, adjust machines to specified sizes, position materials correctly, operate machine controls, inspect finished pieces for defects, measure parts for accuracy, perform minor machine maintenance, assist with machine setups, and stack, mark, or pack finished products. Participate in team meetings, assist with training new operators, maintain 5S standards, and cross-train in other areas as needed.
Some manufacturing experience and a good work history are preferred. Robotic experience is a plus. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and written instructions, use hand and power tools, operate precision measurement equipment, and understand manufacturing quality standards. Must be willing to assist with setups and training on off-shifts, work well with other departments, use good judgment, and work with limited supervision. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Safety Requirements Must be able to safely operate manufacturing equipment and follow all company safety policies and procedures. Must maintain a clean and organized work area and properly use all required tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment.
