Role:
Associate Director Estimator supporting capital projects within the biopharma industry, focusing on cost estimation, planning, and benchmarking from feasibility to project startup.
Responsibilities:
- lead estimating efforts for projects from less than $5MM to over $1B TIC
- prepare detailed TIC estimates
- validate estimates from internal and external sources
- conduct risk analysis
- support project benchmarking and cost database maintenance
- collaborate on project budgeting and cost control.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field;
- 10+ years in estimating, project control, or capital management;
- strong knowledge of pharma/biotech project types across R&D, drug substance, drug product, and manufacturing;
- excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills;
- proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred:
- AI fluency
- experience with Lean methodologies
- estimating systems
- Monte Carlo risk analysis (@RISK)
