Job Summary

Assists the Store Manager in overseeing total store operations, supervising department managers, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales and profit goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support department managers and staff across the store.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Oversee store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Monitor and achieve sales, profit, labor, and shrink goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, LP standards, and safety regulations.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in grocery retail required.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of grocery operations, merchandising, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

• Stand/walk for extended periods.
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Work in varied temperature environments.

Scheduling Expectations

Varied schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Success Indicators (KPIs)

• Sales, profit, and labor goals achieved.
• Shrink/waste reduced within targets.
• Customer service and employee engagement scores.
• Store safety and compliance audit results.
