This position is a strong opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career in web offset printing.Starting pay: $23/hourOpen to candidates with 0–1 years of experienceShift Options:2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AMPress Equipment:Harris M-1000 BEHarris M-600Multiple roll stand configurationsDouble-former delivery systemsRotary cutter delivery systemsCombo folder delivery systemsSheeter delivery systemsClosed-loop color systemsKey Responsibilities:Assist press operators with setup, operation, and shutdown of web offset press equipmentHelp prepare and monitor paper rolls, roll stands, web feeding, and delivery systemsSupport press crews during production runs to maintain quality and efficiencyMonitor print quality, color, registration, and overall production flowAssist with folding, cutting, sheeting, and delivery operationsMake basic adjustments under the direction of press operators or leadsHelp troubleshoot production issues and communicate concerns to the teamPerform routine cleaning, maintenance support, and housekeeping around the pressFollow job tickets, production schedules, safety procedures, and quality standardsWork closely with press operators, leads, and supervisors to meet production goalsQualifications:Web offset printing experience preferred, but not requiredMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn requiredPrior experience in print manufacturing, production equipment, bindery, or manufacturing is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentStrong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructionsComfortable working around large production equipmentReliable, dependable, and team-orientedMust be open to working 2nd or 3rd shiftThe ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn the web offset printing trade. A strong candidate will have a good work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to support a press crew in a fast-paced production environment.
