Our client is a financial technology platform that connects investors and advisors with access to alternative investment opportunities across private markets. It streamlines complex processes such as onboarding, reporting, and compliance through a centralized, tech-enabled solution. The Fund Accounting Vice President will help oversee the firms registered funds across private equity, hedge, and private credit strategies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operations, fund accounting, and investor reporting for tender offer and interval funds, managing relationships with administrators
- Lead new fund launches, onboarding, and drive process improvement and automation initiatives
- Review and oversee cash management, reconciliations, liquidity, and expense processes
- Manage and evaluate service providers including auditors, tax advisors, and custodians
- Ensure adherence to policies and lead regulatory filings and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5-7 years of public accounting, fund accounting, or finance operations experience
- Strong experience with alternative investments, private equity or private credit preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge
- Proven ability to manage processes, prioritize workstreams, and operate independently
- CPA strongly preferred
Salary Range
$120,000-$135,000
