Attorney Position

The United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Ohio is seeking an attorney with criminal litigation experience. This vacancy is located in Toledo, Ohio. The Criminal Division is organized into six sections: General Crimes; White Collar Crimes; National Security; Violent Crimes; Narcotics/Organized Crime Drug Trafficking and Asset Recovery Team (DART); and Appellate. Criminal Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) prosecute federal criminal cases in the District. Criminal AUSAs advise federal law enforcement agents on criminal investigations, present criminal cases to the grand jury, try criminal cases before the United States District Court, and represent the United States in criminal appeals before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Candidates should be capable of handling a variety of significant and complex criminal prosecutions. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. As needed, additional positions may be filled using this announcement.
