Assistant Superintendent - Fort Mill

Johnson-Laux Construction is seeking a motivated, organized, and team-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our growing team in South Carolina!

We are a Commercial General Contractor specializing in new construction and renovation projects for public-sector clients. Our diverse portfolio includes airports, hospitals, colleges and universities, K-12 schools, municipal facilities, parks, hospitality, military facilities, and office buildings.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and is committed to delivering quality work while providing an outstanding customer experience.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Project Engineer, or Field Engineer, or a relevant internship.
• Commercial Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial general contracting and construction processes.
• Renovation Experience: Commercial renovation experience is strongly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Computer proficiency and the ability to work with construction-related documentation and systems.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Leadership: A take-charge attitude, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently while supporting the project team.
• Customer Service: A friendly, professional demeanor with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Requirements: Valid driver's license and the ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
