Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Construction
Location: Washington, DC Metropolitan Area
We are working with an established General Contractor in Washington, DC, looking to hire an Assistant Superintendent to support the delivery of large-scale, ground-up multifamily construction projects.
The company has a strong presence across the East Coast, delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments, with a solid pipeline of upcoming projects in the DC area.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day site operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors and oversee construction activities.
- Monitor project schedules, quality and safety standards.
- Assist with inspections, site reporting and construction sequencing.
- Work closely with project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
- Ground-up multifamily construction experience
- Previous experience working for a General Contractor.
- Strong knowledge of site operations, subcontractor coordination and construction sequencing.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
