Overview
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The role assists in the overall operation of the store to support maximum sales and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of the Seasonal Store.
- Contribute to operations to ensure guest services are established and maintained.
- Develop staff, control expenses, minimize shrinkage, and oversee merchandising and inventory control.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 with a flexible schedule.
- Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
- Prior retail management experience is required.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate ranges from $17.25 - $17.50 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Benefits include: Vermont Paid Sick Time, Set-Up and Tear Down Premium Pay Programs, End of Season Premium Pay Program. All Bonus and Pay Programs subject to qualifications.
