Position Summary
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support daily store operations, including enhancing customer service quality, supervising and developing staff, and managing routine tasks. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire store.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations
- Train, supervise, and manage staff schedules
- Handle customer service and complaints
- Plan and execute store layout and product displays
- Manage data related to sales, attendance, and inventory
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards within the store
- Perform other duties related to store operations
Qualifications
- 1+ year of work experience as an optician in a retail store or in optometrist’s office (Required)
- 1+ year of management experience (Required)
- 1+ year of experience in retail store management (Preferred)
- Interest in customer service and retail
- Skills in store operations, employee training and development, and human resource management
- Basic computer skills
- Valid license or certification as required by state law
- Associate degree in opticianry or at least some postsecondary education (Preferred) Retail

Salary
Hourly Wage: $28 – $31 (based on experience and qualifications)
